A homage to the female mystics over the years. She is an archetypal mystic, or a Shaman from a bygone era.
I was also inspired, in part by George Macdonald’s book, Phantastes, where the fairies had wings instead of arms. Having wings lifts us from the limitations of life on earth and into the ether where all things are possible. Printed on textured art paper, 30 × 22cm.
